Description

The Contemporary Art Centre CK is a non-contracted and non-subsidized exhibition space that has been open since 2014. It presents the collection of Christian Karoutzos, a visual artist, composed of artists of national and international renown.

Nearly 300 pieces of art by 60 artists are presented in 4 rooms spread over 2 floors. All kinds of artistic sensibilities are represented here: painting, sculpture, drawing, video and sound installations, photos and poetry. The artists highlighted are both more confidential artists (Gallou, Jean Jaffeux, Marguerite Noirel, David Vernède) and artists of international stature (Peter Klasen, Marc Petit, Vladimir Velickovic, Pierre-Yves Trémois, Salvador Dali, Pierre Assemat, Dominique Coffignier, Florent Poujade). The Art Centre also presents exhibition catalogues published by Christian Karoutzos on the artists he defends as well as art books of fine craftsmanship and published in limited copies.
