Description
Climbing site authorized by the FFME (French Federation of Mountain and Climbing), very frequented because it’s well-adapted for the introduction thanks to the diversity and the length of the ways. Possibility to climb almost all year because the site has an enjoyable microclimate.
Access: in Champeix, take the D996, cross Montaigut-le-Blanc, reach the bridge of Rivalet and turn to the right in direction of St-Nectaire. At 1 km away, the rock is located above the road, before reaching Verrières, and see the car park.
The site is made of 5 sectors, offering 62 lengths : Voie du Gag, Globule, Sida, the Source and Blédine. Rock: not abrasive granite, mainly made of slab. Ways from 20 to 100m.
