Auvergne Sunshine

When you arrive in Pays d’Issoire, you are already practically in the South of France! The roofs are decorated with pantiles, the grapes grow on the hillsides, the fountains bring water to the town squares. In some areas with strong sunshine, you can even see Mediterranean vegetation appear. The levels of sunshine enjoyed by Pays d’Issoire has even given rise to our slogan: L’Auvergne plein Soleil! (“Auvergne sunshine!”)
