The peak ok Brionnet culminates at 927m high. The site offers an exceptional view on the Couzes, the Cézallier, the Sancy and the Allier Valley. There, you can visit the chapel Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel and you can find a viewpoint indicator.

The volcanic columns and the remains of the Notre-Dame du mont-Carmel chapel surround the ruins of a medieval fortress with a faint footprint: ditch, circular cavity, masonry elements.
